A History Of Environmental Law Representation
Wolford Law was established in 1999 and specializes in environmental and energy law. My office handles all forms of litigation, primarily actions/appeals before State and Federal courts and the Pennsylvania Environmental Hearing Board. I serve a diverse array of clients in northwestern Pennsylvania across the entire spectrum of environmental law, relying on my career of experience gained working for the DEP as a staff attorney and Regional Counsel of the DEP’s Northwest Regional Office; the Pennsylvania Office of the Attorney General as an Environmental Crimes Section prosecutor and Torts Litigation attorney; and as Special Assistant U.S. Attorney for the Western District of Pennsylvania.
Using my knowledge gained as a government environmental lawyer in the very location where I now practice, I have a deep understanding of environmental laws and regulations as well as policies behind these regulations. With that, I can provide my clients with an insightful legal strategy that accomplishes short- and long-term goals, as needed.

Unlike many other attorneys, I am a solo practitioner who handles every aspect of my clients’ cases. I don’t have associates who do my work or answer the phone. I do these things myself so that my clients can trust that they can always speak with me and that they are getting my skills and experience are being applied to their cases. I am happy to provide my clients with this level of personalized service because I believe that the best way I can serve them my clients is by keeping their goals at the center of the case.
