Providing Comprehensive Environmental Law Representation
At Wolford Law, I have made representation in environmental law cases my sole focus. Prior to starting my firm, I worked in state and federal positions as an environmental lawyer, including serving as Regional Counsel for the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection, Northwest Region, as well as an environmental crimes prosecutor for the Pennsylvania Office of Attorney General and special prosecutor for the U.S. Attorney for the Western District of Pennsylvania. Since launching my firm, I have provided plaintiff and defense representation for individuals, organizations, businesses and landowners.
A Recognized Leader In Handling Many Types Of Environmental Cases
Having worked as a government prosecutor and regulator, a plaintiff’s attorney, and a defense attorney for environmental law cases has given me a broad perspective on the practice area. I have a 360-degree view of each case, and I believe strongly in respecting private property rights while also complying with natural resources and environmental protections.
Here is a sampling of the case types I have handled during my career:
- Air Quality
- Water Quality
- Sewage Facilities
- Safe Drinking Water / Public Water Supplies
- Waste Management
- Hazardous Sites Cleanup
- Land Recycling (including brownfields)
- Oil and Gas
Although I work primarily within the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, I am sometimes referred cases from other states due to my extensive experience in a range of environmental law matters. I am referred a diverse array of clients due to this, from landowners protecting their property, to oil, gas and mineral extractors who need regulatory compliance representation in Northwestern Pennsylvania. Additionally, I also take on some real estate cases where environmental concerns are present, such as drafting sales agreements for properties with environmental contamination or litigation over easements in the context of environmental issues.
Your Case Will Get Personalized Attention From Me
Aside from my experience as an environmental law attorney, I also stand out compared to other lawyers in this area of practice in terms of my approach to client relations. I am a sole practitioner. When you call or email me, you will hear directly from me – not a secretary, paralegal or associate attorney. I strongly believe my direct contact with clients is what allows me to understand their goals and create strategies to bring them the results they desire.
